Dinner with security leaders from across industries. Tech Week pulls together people you would not normally cross paths with, and I am looking forward to a few hours with folks solving security problems in completely different contexts.

For those who do not know me, I am a hardware geek at heart. One of the better things about Tech Week is that you get to follow an interest that has nothing to do with your day job and see what people are building.

Founders come to security from a hundred different starting points. Two hours listening to what they are stuck on is worth more to me than any report on what buyers supposedly want.

An evening of agree or disagree with other marketers. The specific arguments only other marketers find interesting are exactly the ones worth having, and I always leave these with something I can use.

LinkedIn carries a lot of weight for any B2B company, so hearing what is working straight from the LinkedIn team beats guessing at it from the outside.

Anyone who has worked in content knows it is a beast of its own. Content is a big part of my job, so I am here to learn what is working for other teams right now.

Tech Week is one of the few times you get pulled outside your own industry without it feeling like work. I have been curious about wearables for a while, and a happy hour is a good way to find out what is new.
